Last week, Mr. Winter visited the area with snow, wind and cold weather for several days. Winter is not supposed to be here until Dec. 21, but anything is possible.

High and low temperatures and precipitation for Dec. 2 through Dec. 8, followed by the same for last year, were as follows: Dec. 2 – 34°, 20° (62°, 47°, .19”); Dec. 3 – 32°, 11° (63°, 44°, .01”); Dec. 4 – 38°, 13° (48°, 39°); Dec. 5 – 33°, 18°, .04” + .25” snow (43°, 34°); Dec. 6 – 28°, 17° (37°, 30°); Dec. 7 – 41°, 20° (52°, 32°) and Dec. 8 – 57°, 38° (61°, 35°).
Total rainfall for November was 2.01”, compared to 3.33” in November of 2023.
Year-to-date rainfall is 51.27”, compared to 33.02” for the same time period last year.
