On Valentine’s Day, the senior center in Franklin announced its Valentine royalty. Doris Brackenrich was crowned queen with Danny Davis named king. The center sponsored a new contest, Mr. and Mrs. Valentine. Winners of that contest were Leeann Britton and David Townsend. All winners are decided by penny votes (one penny = one vote) that is done for the first two weeks of February. A Valentine’s Day party with a Valentine card exchange was held. Anyone, age 60 or older, is invited to participate in the fun activities throughout the year.
