Emilee Teter, a 2022 graduate of Pendleton County High School and daughter of Terry and Kathy Teter of Circleville, was awarded a $500 scholarship by American Legion Post #30 in Franklin. The scholarship was presented by Gene McConnell, post financial officer, at the PCHS awards ceremony in May.
Criteria for the scholarship includes student grade point average, class rank and school/community activities and must be a relative of a military service veteran.
She will be attending Glenville State in the fall, majoring in criminal justice.
