It was good to get some rain over the weekend. This helps out the firemen has they have been fighting wildfires. It’s not easy to fight these fires when the temperatures have been in the 80s.

High and low temperatures and precipitation for April 29 through May 5, followed by the same for last year, were as follows: April 29 – 89°, 53° (72°, 47°); April 30 – 77°, 57° (59°, 48°, .96”); May 1 – 82°, 49° (56°, 40°, .14”); May 2 – 85°, 47° (48°, 39°, .3”); May 3 – 82°, 54°, .09” (47°, 37°, .58”); May 4 – 88°, 53°, .38” (52°, 35°, .25”) and May 5 – 77°, 54°, .14” (65°, 32°).
Total rainfall for April was 4.04”, compared to 3.97” in April of 2023.
Year-to-date rainfall is 12.64”, compared to 8.99” for the same time period last year.
