Pendleton Community Bank has announced the promotion of Natasha Simmons to Bank Secrecy Act officer.
With her new title, Simmons will now oversee the BSA department and continue to ensure PCB’s overall compliance with regulations. She joined PCB in 2016 and has most recently held the title of BSA assistant. Based in Harrisonburg, Virginia, she has supported the vice president/director of compliance with fraud detection and maintaining PCB’s compliance within the Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
Originally from Pendleton County, Simmons moved to Virginia with her family and graduated from Turner Ashby High School. She has completed the ICBA BSA/AML certification program through the Independent Community Bankers Association. She has been in banking since 2007 and has experience as a teller, corporate social responsibility and universal banker. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, baking, and attending country music concerts.
