On March 15, 16 young ladies took the stage for the title of 2024 Miss Pendleton County Middle School and Miss Pendleton County High School.
Miss PCMS contestants were Bella Alt, McKenzie Vandevander, Haleigh Alt, Alanna Miller, Jemma Willis, and Joselyn Nelson
Miss PCHS contestants were Ashton Hess, Paigelyn Long-Bennett, Leah Nesselrodt, Nataley Hedrick. Katelyn Hedrick, Breena Bowers, Maggie Connor, Josey Collier, Baylie Kirby, and Madison Arbaugh
In the middle school division, Willis won most photogenic, Vandevander took Miss Congeniality, and crowd favorite was Miller.
The 2024 PCMS Queen was Miller, while first runner-up was Alt, and Vandevander won second runner-up.
In the high school division, Collier earned Miss Photogenic, Nataley Hedrick took Miss Congeniality, and Bowers was selected as crowd favorite.
The 2024 PCHS Queen was Nesselrodt, Collier was chosen for first runner-up, and Kirby won second runner-up.
Miss Pendleton County Middle School 2016, Cheznie Liggett, crowned the queens, while Caylie Simmons, the 2024 Miss West Virginia Three Rivers Festival Queen, served as emcee. Kaitlyn Durham took photographs.
