Jeffery Hal Evick, 65, of Franklin passed away on Dec. 22, 2023, at the Pendleton Manor in Franklin.
He was born on Feb. 25, 1958, in Petersburg, the son of the late William “Bill” Morgan and Neva Katherine (Hammer) Evick.
Mr. Evick was a 1977 graduate of Franklin High School and a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
He had worked at the H. P. Store, Valley Clothing and in guest services at Massanutten Resort. He loved fishing at River Gap, South Branch of the Potomac, and Brandywine Lake. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching West Virginia University sports.
He is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Dec. 28 in the Basagic Funeral Home chapel in Franklin with Pastor Sherry officiating. Interment was at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
