Dorothy Amelia Mohler, 90, of Franklin passed away Oct. 26, 2024, at the Pendleton Manor in Franklin.
She was born on April 12, 1934, in Yale, Michigan, the daughter of the late David and Katherine (Mueller) Rusch.
Mrs. Mohler was a 1951 graduate of Yale High School and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.
On Dec. 1, 1956, she married James Lee “Jim” Mohler, who preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 2015.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory three daughters, Jamey Wimer (Eddie) of Franklin, Judy Schuck of Washington Township, New Jersey, and Sally Shay (Justin) of Rochester, Massachusetts; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by six sisters, Pauline Hall, Marie Lendon, Ruth Rusch, Lydia Leslie, Emma Burton and Emily Edgerton; and two brothers, David and John Rusch.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in the chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin with Pastors Paul Schafer and Angela Lambert officiating. Interment was at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
