John Adam Fultz (1882 - April 1963) was the son of Martin Fultz (Oct. 4, 1853 - May 13, 1925) and Mary Jane Bolton Fultz (June 30, 1862 - March 18, 1925), both buried at the Dickenson Mountain Cemetery. His siblings were Frances E, Frank A., Sarah P., Sally, and Mineola. John was a teacher in the Brandywine area, teaching at Cedar Grove (Toad Hole) and Propstburg schools. He later became superintendent of the Pendleton County Schools. His marriage to Sudie Hinkle produced a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Ruby) Lambert of Blue Grass, Virginia. After a lengthy illness, John passed away and is buried in the Blue Grass Cemetery in Virginia.
