At the State Fair of West Virginia, two Pendleton County 4-Hers, Zander Adams and Jameigh Miller, were awarded the best of show ribbons for their exhibits. Adams displayed a basket of homegrown vegetables for his sixth-year gardening project. For her self-determined project, Miller exhibited a tree slab featuring her family tree arranged into the growth rings of the tree. West Virginia 4-H celebrated the 10 days of the state fair by highlighting the 10 best of show 4-H exhibits.
Grand champion market lamb at the State Fair of West Virginia was exhibited by Braden McCoy. Pictured are his parents, John and Terri McCoy, and contest judge, BJ Rule. More information about Pendleton County livestock exhibitors at the state fair will be published next week.
