The Franklin High School Class of 1962 celebrated its 62nd class reunion July 20 at the Harold K. Michael Ruritan Building in Oak Flat. Fifteen out of the 50 surviving members attended. It was decided to hold another reunion in two years. Those attending were, from left, front row, Polly Mitchell Pittington, Faye Thorn Kile, Martha Botkin Kimble, Myrtle Hammer, Mary Alice Simmons Evick, Ruth Simmons Nelson, Joie Simmons Nelson and Philip Nelson; and second row, Galen Crummett, Troy Simmons, Wayne Harman, Joe Heavner, Winifred Miller Williams, Joe Kimble, Tom Simmons and Gerald Sites.
