
Madisen Brookes, Mason DiFalco and Cayden Hensley have been named outstanding students of the month for January at Pendleton County Middle/High School.
Brookes, a senior, is the Academic Student of the Month. She resides in Franklin with Jimmy Perry. She is a member of National Honor Society, Pep Club, and yearbook. She was selected to attend the Governor’s Honor’s Academy. Her plans are to attend West Virginia University in the fall and major in respiratory therapy. She then hopes to work at Ruby Memorial in Morgantown.
DiFalco of Franklin is the James Huffman Responsible Student of the Month at PCHS. A junior, he is the son of Brian DiFalco and Jamie DiFalco. He is a past winner of the Golden Horseshoe. He enjoys hunting and fishing. He is a member of the Franklin Volunteer Fire Department and works at T&K Markets. He plans to attend WVU to obtain a degree in public safety.
Seventh grader, Hensley, is the Pendleton County Middle School Student of the Month. He participates in extracurriculars that include basketball, football, fishing, and gaming, all of which count as his hobbies that he greatly enjoys. His future plans are to go to the NBA and/or be an astronaut. He is the son of Stephanie Hensley and Richard Hensley and resides in Brandywine.
These students receive a T-shirt, $50 from Pendleton Community Bank, and movie, bowling and ice cream passes courtesy of South Branch Cinema 6 & South Branch Potomac Lanes.
