Betty Jane Wezik, 92, of Sugar Grove and formerly of Crownsville, Maryland, passed away July 24, 2024, at her home.
She was born on Jan. 20, 1932, in War, the daughter of the late Tivis and Bessie Mae (Davidson) Ward.
Mrs. Wezik attended school in War and was a Protestant by faith. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.
Her husband, Raymond S. Wezik, preceded her in death on March 10, 1969.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter, Sheila Brown (Stewart) of Severna Park, Maryland; a son, Raymond Wezik (Starla) of Sugar Grove; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
In honoring her wishes, her body has been cremated.
