Case Alt, Lucas Vandevander and Susan Vincell have been named outstanding students of the month for November at Pendleton County Middle/High School.
Vincell is the Academic Student of the Month. A sophomore, she is a member of the varsity basketball and softball teams and a member of Educators Rising, Pep Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Living Faith Church. She is on the A Honor Roll and was All PVC in softball. Her plans are to go to college and attain a degree in elementary education. She is the daughter of Joe and Allison Vincell of Franklin.
Vandevander is the James Huffman Responsible Student of the Month. A senior, he is the son of DJ and Liane Vandevander of Riverton. He is the treasurer of FFA. He graduated from the building maintenance program at South Branch Vo-Tech Center where he is currently studying welding. He enjoys hunting and fishing. He plans to attend welding school and go straight into the workforce.
Alt is the Pendleton County Middle School Student of the Month. An eighth-grade student, he is the son of Chris, Mike, and Treena Alt of Upper Tract. He participates in the archery club and enjoys going for walks. He is on the AB Honor Roll. Currently, he is interested in a career in welding.
These students receive a T-shirt, $50 from Pendleton Community Bank, and movie, bowling and ice cream passes courtesy of South Branch Cinema 6 & South Branch Potomac Lanes.
