On Aug. 17, Senior Trooper K.C. Raymond responded to a motorcycle collision on U.S. Route 33, near Franklin.
During the course of an investigation, it was determined John R Liguori, 66, of East Patchogue, New York, was operating a motorcycle when he crossed the center line, exited the roadway into a ditch, and struck a tree. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the investigation is still active.
