The Potomac Highlands Wounded Warrior Outreach hosted a spring turkey event April 29. Jeff Wilson arranged for fishing at the Sugar Grove Trophy Trout Farm, where the wounded warriors caught many nice fish that were stocked by Jerry Bartley. A riverside picnic, provided by Kevin and Lisa Bartley, was enjoyed by attendees. Two of the veterans were able to harvest turkeys. A great time was had by all, and long-lasting friendships were found. The event was supported by Brandywine and Sugar Grove residents, volunteers, guides and property owners.
