The late Roy Puffenbarger of Brushy Fork used different woods and made a variety of objects in his work shed. Although his time was involved with farming, construction, working to help build the Sugar Grove Naval Station, and area dam constructions, he still found time to make his wood products. Some of the items he made were large wall hangings of forks and spoons, kitchen utensils, plates and tricycle, with the most unique item being a pocket knife. Even though some of his products were sold at the Highland County Festival in Monterey, Virginia, he enjoyed giving away most of them to friends.
