For Sunday
The Pendleton County Historical Society will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Sugar Grove Rescue Squad building in Sugar Grove. A presentation on “Boys of ’17” will follow the business meeting.
Living Faith
To Celebrate
40 Years
Living Faith Church will celebrate its 40th anniversary Sunday. The morning service will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a barbecue lunch, fun events for kids and a special thanksgiving service and dessert in the early afternoon. Everyone is welcome to attend.

To Hold
Revival Services
“Fired Up for Jesus” revival services will be held at Christ Central Community Church in Upper Tract. Services will begin a 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Music will be provided by Matt Lough on Friday, Rod Propes on Saturday and the church choir on Sunday. Everyone is invited to attend.
Library Friends
To Meet Tuesday
The Friends of the Library will gather at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the meeting room at Pendleton County Library in Franklin.
Job Fair
To Be Held
Oct. 7
A community job fair will be held Oct. 7 at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College, 316 Eastern Drive in Moorefield. The morning session will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. and the afternoon session will be from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Approximately 30 employers will be participating, and job seekers are encouraged to bring resumes.
