Michelle Ann Simmons, 62, of Waynesboro, Virginia, passed away May 4, 2026, at her home.
She was born Aug. 29, 1963, in Waynesboro, Virginia, and was the daughter of Patricia Shaw Harper of Waynesboro, Virginia, and the late Lee Grail Simmons.
Ms. Simmons was a 1981 graduate of Waynesboro High School and pursued a certified nursing assistant degree at Blue Ridge Community College. She had worked at Blue Ridge Christian Nursing Home in Stuarts Draft, Virginia, at Target and a consignment shop.
She loved watching TV, working with flowers and crafting. She had a passion for dogs and cats.
Friends will be received from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin with Pastors Jerry Smith and Bill James officiating.
