Unbelievably, the holidays are upon us once again.
As my family and some friends know, I’ve been an AVID sender of greeting and other types of cards. I TRULY LOVE making others happy.
Our POSTAL SERVICE has been and is being discouragingly unprofessional SOMEWHERE along the journeys of our citizens’ mail. I’ve sent gift cards and cash in cards that NEVER reached their destinations! Empty cards have not gotten to their intended receivers, either.
I’m NOT blaming LOCAL individuals for these losses; I think the problems are farther along the “chain.” I don’t know what your opinions of your mail carriers are, but our mail carrier/carriers are RESPECTED and TRUSTED by us! I don’t know how to get future losses RESOLVED; people’s money has too much IMPORTANCE to be basically thrown away.
If you don’t get cards from Hugh and me for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, we HOPE ALL of you UNDERSTAND. ENJOY your holidays and ALWAYS KEEP GOD your FOCUS.
