William Bryan Hedrick, 94, of Cortland, Ohio, and formerly of Seneca Rocks passed away April 7, 2022, at his daughter’s home.
He was born Oct. 30, 1927, in Macksville, the son of the late Homer and Nela (Phares) Hedrick.
Mr. Hedrick was a carpenter at Gibson Construction for years and belonged to Carpenter’s Local 171.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during World War II. He was a member of Champion Christian Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and gardening.
On Oct. 14, 1950, he married the former Ramona Harper. They shared 68 years of marriage until her passing on Aug. 8, 2019.
Surviving are a son, Ken W. Hedrick of Champion, Ohio; two daughters, Carolyn (David) Stassin of Warren, Ohio, and JoAnn M. Baldwin of Bristolville, Ohio; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, John (Lois) Hedrick of Seneca Rocks; and two sisters, Lorena Hedrick of Petersburg and Blonda (Harold) Hartman of Seneca Rocks.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Hedrick and Jerald “Jake” Hedrick; two sisters, Avanell (Hedrick) Hinkle and Wilda (Hedrick) Bland; and three brothers-in-law, Leonard Hedrick, Herbert Hinkle and Richard Bland.
Services were held Monday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home in Warren, Ohio. Interment was in Champion Township Cemetery.
