The Upper Tract Producers 4-H Club held its monthly meeting on March 14 at the Upper Tract Training Center. Guest speaker was Sherry Howard, her daughter, Riley, and their dog, Bell. Howard talked about pet grooming and how to take care of one’s dogs. Twenty-two members attended the meeting and learned about the tools needed to groom pets. Some of the tools that she used were brushes, clippers, scissors and nail clippers. The members were encouraged to bring dog and cat supplies to donate to P.A.W.S. The members enjoyed learning how to take better care of their pets. They were encouraged to advise other people to treat animals with care. — by Tia Heavner, reporter
